You’ll be admitted to hospital on the day of your heart rhythm study.
Because you’ll be having general anaesthesia or sedation, you’ll need to fast from midnight the night before. When you arrive at the hospital, you may have to fill out a consent form if you haven’t done so already.
Waiting to go into the operating theatre
Expect to wait around for a while as you may not be first on your doctor’s procedure list.
